Onsite Crisis Management & Security Teams

After PSC’s participation in the post-Katrina stabilization and recovery of New Orleans, PSC formed and maintains Rapid Emergency Deployment Crisis Management and Security Teams. These RED Teams are led by the upper management of the company and can deploy on a few hours notice to any point in North America. Teams are comprised of highly trained and disciplined security officers, Command and Control vehicles, and mobile housing. The units are completely self-contained and self-sufficient, and can operate in totally decimated areas.

Our corporate Office of Lessons Learned debriefed officers who participated in the Katrina stabilization and compiled information on what was done right and where things were lacking. We spoke with not only officers from our own company, but with contractors from private and government agencies.

We then took this information and created our own logistical division which can house, feed, and resupply our officers without assistance from any outside party. This type of planning and preparation completely removes any concern or responsibility from the companies to which we contract. In fact, we even provide an experienced medical technician with each group to oversee medical treatment of our operators should the need arise.

Red Teams can operate in primitive conditions indefinitely. We can hold things together while communities and facilities return to normal and services are brought fully back on line.

RED Teams on Deployment

PSC used modern Rigid Inflatable Boats during the Katrina stabilization program for rescue and patrol operations.  This particular boat was used to recover valuable items including priceless religious icons and sensitive government documents.

Red Teams use highly modified vehicles to operate in decimated areas under any environmental conditions. Vehicles are equipped with upgraded suspension systems, UHF and VHF radios, wireless computer systems, and aggressive off road tires.
